facebook wants me to upload id

    so i login from a new browser from the same ip and now it's telling me to upload a government issued photo id to unlock my account for security reasons. Is this a new policy implemented by them?

    They also asked me for government id, I uploaded it and they unblocked my advertisement options.

    this is not new policy and they will destroy id once account confirmed.
