Facebook and Twitter both are good and all you need to know is how to run the campaigns in these platforms. And even you can link the both accounts, so that your facebook updates will be automatically posted on twitter and twitter updates will be automatically posted on your facebook wall. good luck
[h=3]Key Elements of Facebook and Twitter[/h] Facebook appeals to people looking to reconnect with old friends and family members or find new friends online; the mashup of features like email, instant messaging, image and video sharing, etc. feels familiar, while Twitter is a bit harder to get your arms around at first. Most people can very quickly grasp how to use Facebook to connect to friends and family, using it to share thoughts, images, etc. Like MySpace but more geared to adults than teens, Facebook is a social networking Portal; beckoning you not to leave but rather to stick around and communicate within the network. Twitter on the other hand, encourages you grab ideals in byte-size chunks and use your updates as jumping off points to other places or just let others know what you’re up to at any given moment. I think facebook is better than twitter
Both platforms have their own unique selling points. Facebook is good for connecting with acquaintances, and maintaining long-term relationships with them. It has a cleaner and more polished interface. Twitter is good for starting quick conversations with other people on the Internet, and the simplicity makes it quite user-friendly as well. In terms of traffic, it depends on what you want to achieve with these social media platforms. Both Facebook and Twitter have a seemingly endless pool of visitors and potential customers.
I use Facebook and I get a steady amount of traffic from it. I have never used Twitter but I expect they are both the same when it comes to traffic. The best thing to do is try them both out for a while and see what happens.
I hope that we can receive good amount of traffic from Facebook only. I am getting mostly from facebook, very few from twitter.
I think that it is a matter of how you use each one of them. I personally think you can drive more traffic with Twitter. Twitter has better real time results than even Google. Also you can run mini contests and do daily promotions on Twitter which will feed your site more traffic than posting articles and interacting with your current likers on Facebook.
It depends. But Facebook has over 600 million users and grows by 5 members every second so I'd say Facebook if your marketing effectively.
