    facebook is number one yet twitter is number two there both good but facebook is much better

    For me, it has to be Facebook. Facebook is more in depth and more personal than Twitter is. And you can do more things on Facebook - although Twitter has the "TwitPic" thing, you can't really share photos or anything on it.. Which is a big plus point for Facebook. Plus Twitter is harder to have private conversations with people, as your only option really is to direct message them, but it's not quite as simple and straightforward as Facebook mail. Oh, and, let's not forget Twitter's 140 character limit - a major downside.

    Twitter makes money for you Facebook delivers free traffic for you.
    I get 60 visits a day from Facebook and around 30 from twitter and have over 22k followers.
    Funny thing is I never even promote Facebook they traffic just trickles in lol
