For those interested in speeding up their Twitter following, there are quite a few tools on the market. I didn't want to spend a lot and found Twitter On The Run. It's super inexpensive - and has really worked well for me. I want from around 500 followers to almost 7500 (should it that today) in 2 months (to the day - I purchased it on 8/28). Anyway, if you're interested in learning about a powerful, $15 (really) Twitter tool, you can click the link in my sig. Good luck! Howsyamama http://tinyurl.com/Best-Twitter-Tool-15-DOLLARS
is just like comparing pepsi & coca-cola USA largely drink pepsi China largely drink coca-cola in Australia many using twitter But in South-East-Asia Facebook is widely used (no 1 even know what is twitter)
I think on twitter are more PR people than regular user. So for me facebook is better to use it for some job.
right now tiwtter is helping me way more then facebook is as I'm pretty tweeting pretty much but not spending that much time on FB
Twitter, I would say. Facebook is a complex-er app. Alongwith your web promotions, the end user has loads more on his screen... updates of videos, updated of photographs, notifications from applications and lots more.
twitter is the best . its easy to get traffic from der .. whereas facebook has become full of ads now a days and irritating .. twitter is fast and clean
Here's how you know scientifically which is better: send both lists the same message and find out which creates more traffic - Tweeter or Facebook?
Right now Twitter is sending most of the traffic to our sites. Our facebook fan page has over 1000 fans, while twitter has only 500 followers.
I'm now getting about even traffic from facebook and twitter but given that my facebook group is about twice as large as my twitter followers i would still say that twitter (all things being even) seems better for traffic.
I think they are completely different and complementary sites. Twitter allows you to accumulate thousands of followers and tweet them several times per day, with short messages including links. If done right this can result in clicks on the links. Facebook is huge and is trying to be all things to all people, the opposite of Twitter which is trying to be less things to more people than anybody else.
Facebook seems to be a good location for content. A place to hold links to your site, to your videos; its become a homebase for your social networking outreach, however this is difficult because its not as exclusive as Twitter is as most of this content lives somewhere else. Twitter allows for more direct interaction with followers as well as a method of broad outreach. It is a good social networking tool because it is a real time application. I think if you want to promote your product or services and just spread the word, use Twitter and redirect them to Facebook.
I like how quickly I can grow my followers on Twitter but I agree that both of them can be very effective and most businesses don't know how to use them.
both of them help for getting traffic, facebook is very popular and twitter become more popular every day
A fan of twitter, but both networks great and are built for different things and achieve different results based on set objectives.
Guess facebook is better at promoting both thought and industries...I myself know many friends that is fnd of the opportunites, twitter on the other hand is hard to enter into the social platform in some areas...
