Facebook gets more traffic now. But remeber there was a point nobody thought myspace would ever be taken down as the king.

I highly doubt Facebook will ever take over Google, Google still gets a lot more trafic than Facebook, when you throw in all their additional services (gmail, maps etc.) and let's not forget they own YouTube.

Facebook is the number one most visited website. Now I wonder, what will happen if facebook will launch their own search engine? For sure it would be interesting.

 

Different services at least for now, but if we want to try to compare it, i believe FB will kick Google ass when comes to advertise and the way they interact with Companies

google is more established n smarter but facebook has laser targetted traffic to play with and its fairly cheap to so they are who i think shud win

 

It was happen already, facebook topple Google but nothing to worry about since they have different application.

people who uses facebook also uses google.
but all the people who uses google do not use facebook ( e.g. me)

 

For me google is a "Necessity" and Facebook is "Nice to have" for me. Any person in this world can't socialize all the time, he/she needs own time. This is what I feel with internet too. You feel like getting saturated socializing with FB at times, but with google, its only your own time.

 

If every single people in the world has a Facebook account, then i believe Facebook will beat down Google=)

 

Google is a best search engine(which will help to increase your knowledge and find best and better result) where as facebook is a best social networking site (which will help to promote your website and getting traffic)

 

In terms of internet marketing i think both offer some very distinct and useful platforms to promote your services or products.
But i like to use facebook apps no doubt about it
