My client has an online store, I made the online store,

to market an online store, one of them I use facebook to market a product. we make the fans page, after walking for so long, fans have more than 100,000 fans.

some time ago, someone sent a complaint via the contact form available on facebook, he said claiming that our store has violates the intellectual protection. whereas, none of which exist in our shop in violation.

    what happened:

facebook do not confirm to us, and immediately disable fanspage. We send an email to support dozens of times, after a few times to talk, finally our fanspage switch back but unfortunately, only with 600 fans.

from 100,000 fans to 600 fans.

when we've been trying hard to get to 100,000 fans

after we searched for on search engines, there are many incidents like this.

that we pity, why facebook, do not confirm prior to the admin fanspage.

Its unfortunate but there is a lesson to be learnt for all of us, do not be too dependant on facebook (or having your own site on free websites either like blogspot etc)

I also heard some stories like that, any how what happened was happened, don't depend too much on Facebook, maybe you can again start building your fan page, I think you know some techniques to do that perfectly.

Did they physically remove your fans or did they revert the status of your page to the time when you only had 600 fans?

OH, thats so sad. Don't market your site totally from facebook mate . Switch to other social networks and various ways to grab traffic.

Facebook?....do not even get me started. There is a lessen to be learn. It is like with trading stock - do not relay only on one company. Firstly I diversified all my traffic sources adding youtube, twitter and social bookmarking. I outsourced all link building and social bookmarking services and I am using Indian independent freelancers. It will take time but.....what else you can do ....you cant win with Facebook. Good luck.
