Already facebook has faced one virus attacked before some months ago. This time its totally a different way. This time its Video Spam. Its like you are directly spamming into your friends inbox. Its rapidly spreading over Facebook under name “This video should have millions of views”. This is a Facebook page.

So here is how you are opened to Facebook Spamming virus

    * You will receive a message from your friend (Who is been infected)
    * The message says as below in the picture

And finally unknowingly you think it as video that your friend has forwarded to you to watch. (Actually it isn’t your friend who is sending it to you, The virus or the bot does it when your friend unknowingly tried to view the video). And other fact that happens unknowingly is that you even LIKE the spams source Facebook Page too(proof the likes are rapidly increasing for that page),

When you click on the video to play it, you will get some security check (like above pic). This is that stuff that spreads the virus. For eg. When you select keyboard, it will ask you to press CTRL+C – This is to copy the javascript, next you will be asked to press ALT+D – To take the cursor to address bar, and finally you will be asked to press CTRL+V and enter, so when you press CTRL+V it pastes the javascript in to your address bar and when you press enter, javascript is executed, and the virus is spread.

So to get rid of the Video Spam. Please don’t click on the video spam message that comes to your Facebook inbox. Stay safe!!

Yeah... I get messages/links/posts from friends and I never click on them because it is usually something that they would not promote... so I send them an email/text/message letting them know that their account has been hacked and to change their password.

    I hate "Spam"
