Facebook to Increase Site Traffic?

First of all you need to create your profile properly you need to add your website url on your profile and you need to add friend and when you will update any post on your site you jsut update the same on your facebook profile

 

I've been looking into this, is it effective and will it be worth my time? Surely its just hits, rather than potential sales?

yes facebook will increase your web traffic, but when you reach about 10000 fans they will delete your fanpage and say facebook is not for business, i got this twice, so if you want increase your traffic dont waste time wth facebook,
