Timeline can be confusing at first, especially to those who are new with it. But once they get the hang of it, they'll later find themselves playing around it like before.
I don't like it. The old one is much better. Its annoying as well and makes the whole profile look unprofessional and crowded. Its becoming more like Myspace now.
I hate the timeline. It would be nice if we were given a choice about accepting it but I guess that is too much to ask.
I hate it. Posts are scattered all around the page. Not easy to browse. Ugly colors. That is why I'm staying with my old profile... for now.
Hello, this may be off topic but I can't find where to ask this question. I hit the Timeline button by accident and am now committed to use it. In setting it up I see that all my status updates are visible to my "friends". Does anyone know how I can stop it? I have gone into Privacy Settings and selected everything I can think of with no luck. I have a "dummy" account to check and my statuses won't stop showing up. This is frustrating since I'm figuring out how to set it up so there are tons of status updates going out to my friends which is annoying to all. I have had to deactivate my account until I can figure this out. Thanks.
There's no going back from Timeline. Facebook made sure that users can't opt out of it. You will have to set up who can see your status or posts.
Thanks for your reply. I do understand I am committed now so my question was asking how I set up who can see my status or posts. I have tried doing this and have had no luck. I have done this in the old version but can't seem to in timeline. Thanks.
Facebook Timeline have great features and attracts the page visitors nicely. You can change your timeline anytime and can add new one what you feel best for your profile. It may be your historical image or your own picture...!
it is new thing some peoples are liking this timeline and some people dont, but i have like this new thing
The problem with Facebook timeline is that it made viewing your past information easier. If you are not sure about all the information available in past years, it can be disastrous if you have a potential employer do a background check on you. You sure your friend did not upload an embarrassing photo of you and tagged you along with so many friends? What about old posts or comments from old flings? Meanwhile, Facebook makes it too difficult to delete these -- you have to do it one at a time with so many clicks!!
