I have made some research about Facebook search box and in order to rank in the results page on Facebook the factors in order of importance are:

    1. The user has friends with keyword in their name
    2. Pages the user is a fan of
    3. Pages users friends are fans of
    4. Users friends social mentions
    5. The keyword appears somewhere in a wall post thread
    6. Pages with a high number of fans

    Would love to hear comments.

    Thanks

Haven't tested this myself. I know that the ones you listed are true tho.
The search first shows everything/anything related to you including the ones you stated above.

Good job on finding those factors, but how can it help to rank your fan page or whatever you are trying to promote?
    1. You need to be that person's friend
    2. You need to be a page of that person
    3. You need to be a mutual friend to either.

I see that only #6 you can actually do and work. Tho, then you gotta work to have lots of fans on your page.
