Facebook has finally introduced their PPC system. Not its CPC or Per Impressions, you can choose.

People who tried facebook's advertising program would all know that the CTR is very low. Hopefully with CPC the costs can be kept to a minimum.

    Please share your experience.

Previously known as Facebook Flyers, new service is called Facebook Ads, or Facebook Social Ads.

I'm running my first campaign and will post the results.

Here's a short but clear post about the Facebook Ads.

i am starting to get some clicks. no sales yet.

had to raise CPC to 0.15 cents. i wasnt getting any impressions on $0.10

    any luck anyone?

i guess its okay to run ads at a more expensive price as the audience is more targeted.

I'm using Facebook ads for some of my websites and I experience high conversion rates for everything that has to do with animals. I also use Google PPC inside some of the Facebook applications. Most of the large appz is offering Google Adsense ads in their applications and this may be your(s) opportunity to hit niche sites :)

It was a total waste of money for my automotive site (to the tune of $150 or so).

Has anyone tried this recently? FYI, you can get $100 of free Facebook advertising by adding the Visa Business Network to your profile.

    Good luck!

I've been messing with Facebook some this summer. Most campaigns get something like a 0.01% CTR and require nearly $1 minimum bids, but with enough testing, I've made some campaigns that get decent CTRs and low minimum bids.

It's a lot of testing, and a lot of hassle to use their system... but I'd test it out with the free ad credits, and if a campaign happens to go well, keep running it. If not, let the free money run out and move on.

    I tried using them, but:
    - it needs to be approved manually (you can't just write an ad as free as in adwords)
    - somehow the conversion rate takes a hit because of this manual approval
    - I'm going back to adwords for now

We are doing the CPC now, i figure if you got enough money, you got enough clicks, but the investment is kind of vague, since you don't know whether it will convert to actural profit, it's more of a brand spread.
