I've tried using Facebook's PPC and it seems to be a piece of crap. I mean I'm getting clicks on my ppc campaigns but nobody's buying anything. I'm a little confused as to what might cause this, my first theory is that 99% of users on facebook go to facebook to socialize with people and they don't have the intention of buying anything right? I'm trying to figure out and identify where the problem is with this PPC program we're doing and why they're not converting into money...I'm an online marketing noob so please help me out on this :) thanks!

i agree with you dirtbikedude, i wouldn't think anyone would click on an ad on facebook, let alone buy something.

With Facebook campaigns there are a couple of things you need to consider:

    1. Target Demographic: one of the best things about Facebook is that you can focus on people most likely to buy your product e.g. for car book you may select all males between 18-50 who live in a particular country who make mention of "cars" in their Facebook profiles
    2. Ad Graphic: does it capture and prepare the reader for a sale?
    3. Ad Text: are you using copywriting skills or just writing anything and expecting cash to land in your account?
    4. Landing Page: does it extend from the above and is it written well enough to close the sale?

I have had some success with Facebook campaigns - far from an expert but I know that those are important points to run through.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards,
    Arnold :)
