Facebook Page or Group?

according to my experience, fan pages are more better than groups especially if u have any business idea.

 

That is what fb pages,they are easier on the eyes

 

I think facebook page is much better than a facebook group

 

Everyone knows fan pages are much more beneficial than groups. But you can use them both group for page and page for group. More you spread yourself, more chances you will get to get benefits.

 

As far as I know groups have limitations of 5000 users. Pages do not have limits.

 

Facebook group, fanpage, post on wall and post comments all are useful to me to build traffic.

 

Definitely Fan Page as they can be presented in front of non facebook users" login is not required" for landing page and we can easily show various relevant offers through them.

Yeah Facebook is best social networking platform available and facebook fan page can becomes a best marketting tool if its used correctly.

 

I think Fan Pages are better to market on. Even though you can write everyone that is in your group at on time. You would have to manually update within each email about a new blog post you might have.

When you have a fan page everyone that "likes" your page will get an update automatically to their New Feed every time you update your blog. If you sign up to Networked Blogs and have your blog syndicated to your fan page, then that's all you need.

 

I'd say go for fan page since groups are only limited to 5000 user. If your going to promote your business you wouldn't want to limit your user to 5000 would you?

personally I use both, each has its advantages ;-)

 

The new facebook group gives you a chance to communicate with your group members instantly via instant chatting system... However, fanpage its more into business type. However, the new fb fanpage is going to make a huge difference. Let's wait and see.. For me, I love to have my group who shares common interest like a club members.. Of course, you could even have a group for your old group of friends where you & only your friends can chat and just make the group as a closed one so that whoever want to join your group need to get your permission first.. But, if you plan to use fb for marketing purposes then fanpage will be a great choice..

Definitely go for Facebook fan pages! I think it's best to have one Facebook page or group for your company instead of multiple URLs of your brand. Really confuses your customers.
