I have a page on Facebook which is fairly steady with a reasonable amount of likes. Recently I became a moderator/editor on a page. This page has an incredible amount of activity. I don't own this page unfortunately but I wish I did. I have met the owner and he told me how he got it started . He created a personal account then got 500 friends then reported his own account as been fake. Facbook gave the option to turn it in to a page and hey presto friends turn in to likes. It has since grown to 320000 likes in a very short time. Non paid for. My page has been trundling along for a few years now and the content is photogrpahy mostly of York. I post mine on his page and they always receive more likes than on my own simply because it has more following. For the life of me I don't know how this page reaches so well when my content is better and I'm increasing his pages reach with my better I images. Is it something to do with how his page was created and it bypasses the algorithm. I would give the page names but not sure if I am allowed.
Hi Ebor, May I know is your fb page is based on which theme or category. So it's easy for us to understand.
My page is Ebor Images. It's based around photography of York but I also share images from around Britain and my travels.
