I have not been very active in Facebooking nowadays, that's why I have no idea that Facebook has started posting instructions on making it as your personalized news channel. And in an article I have read, it says that Facebook is actually getting more news traffic than Google News. True or not?
Facebook surpassed yahoo in traffic or so they say a while back. Depends on what figures you look at or who you believe. If that is the case then it puts google at number 1 yet, facebook number 2, and yahoo number 3. What the separation between google and facebook is I have no idea. Facebook is not that old compared to both yahoo and google. To reach that mark in a short time all over social networking is fairly impressive.
I use Facebook from time to time, but I have not seen those instructions. I know you can follow RSS feeds as well as news 'pages', (if you want to). Can you point us to that article you are talking about? I also doubt that Facebook is now bigger than Google in term of traffic, (unique visits or time spent on site?) Looking at Alexa[/ur], (I know it is a very bad tool, but I think it is a good yardstick for top sites), Google is still doing better than Facebook. Yahoo has been 3rd for over a year now. FFMG
Facebook is supposed to be able to get more news traffic because of the amount of people who visit the social network everyday.
Facebook is just amazing and it becomes more stronger in coming days. Facebook is the first website one access while online.
