Facebook and twitter are both most effective in social media. But mostly people use fb.

 

Both. Why just to use one?Twitter is better for getting traffic on your website and it is easier from Facebook. But Facebook have more features

 

twitter seems to be better in terms of instant exposure, even though facebook ads are a bit expensive, that may work too, depending on who you are trying to reach.

 

Twitter and Facebook are most traffic generating websites, I mostly prefer Facebook. It gives me good result.

In terms of reach both are equally effective, but to the SEO point of view I prefer Twitter. Good content and publicity can lead you never before results.

 

Use both,and it all depends which one will work better for you. Someone work better with Facebook someone with Twitter. Honestly,I prefer Twitter but I never forget other social networks.

 

I believe it have time, then try to manage both of them at the same time... but I hate facebook, personally, I think twitter is much easier to manage.

It depends on your Target market, what you are promoting, when you promote(time), and how well you perceive your business to your follows with our posts or tweets. You cannot simply start posting and expect results. You must come up with a strategy, determine the best content and how it is viewed in a short time. You gotta catch their eye in 2 seconds or less. Compelling offers!

I agree with you - Twitter is very limited when it comes to advertising. Always having to shorten your link, abbreviate your updates and your profile is short and non-descriptive. But it's interesting that so many people prefer Twitter for getting news and information. I guess companies have to adapt to Twitter's limitations in order to connect with it's users.

 

The reason I choose Twitter is that we can interact with our followers; stay connected with the celebrities, cricketers, footballers, managers and all known personalities. And yes, they do respond us! Facebook is just piece of boring sh!t, believe me, and most of the pages "LIKE IF YOU LIKE ICE CREAM, IGNORE IF YOU LOVE JUSTIN BIEBER". That's just STUPID, and guess what? They get millions of likes! I guess you are one of them -_-.

My vote goes to Twitter rather than the stupid Facebook.

facebook has about 3,940,000,000 pages indexed at google, while twitter has 1,040,000,000 - Judge yourself.

 

Traffic point of view both are very important, it's depend on you which one do you like and how do you use effectively.

Bottom line is that you are going to be able to biuld traffic much faster using twitter, HOWEVER, you can't have perosn to person interaction as readiliy on twitter. Facebook is where you can go to build relationships and start to really market yourself to start gaining clients and customers!
