There's a rumor that what we post in Facebook is automatically transmitted to Google and becomes available for everyone. Is this true? if it is, then I guess there's no more privacy!
No, that is not true. It all depends on your privacy settings. If you've set them to "everyone" - then everybody, including the Google bot, can access your page. If you've set it to "friends only" - then only your friends can view your profile. It's all in your privacy settings! If Google posts our status updates to Google, even if we have our privacy turned on - then it's not awesome. People will start complaining about this in no-time.
No, that is not true - it depends on what your profile is set to. If you want it to be private, then set your profile to private, which I think is the default. My facebook profile is private, and I check it from time to time to make sure it has stayed that way. Keep this in mind - if you do not want to the world to see it, do not post it on the internet. Regardless of what facebook is set to, keep your private stuff off the net.
