Facebook new page interface :)

I just noticed that facebook has changed the whole page interface and added hell lot of new features!!! I have posted a blog post on it and also writing all the main points here

The features are surely going to increase the possibilities beyond the limits we had!

1. The best and first thing. Now you will receive the notification of the updates on your page. If anyone posts on your page wall or makes a comment on photo or status or note, a notification will be sent to you.
2. Now as it is shown on profile, the five images will be shown on your page. You can disable any of the photograph by rolling the mouse over and click on the cross button.
3. Another great feature is that you can use the facebook by the name of the page. You can go to different pages and interact with them by the name of the page.
4. Now you can link your twitter account to the facebook page that means if you have a company page and have a twitter account where you put updates for the followers, then they can also be posted on your facebook page automatically.
5. Now you have two simple filters for the page wall. One is everyone and other is by the name of your page.
6. Now you can like pages while using facebook by your page name and can comment on them by the name of your page. That means the page will act as an individual on facebook and will attract more likes.
7. If you are using facebook by your page's name and click on the home link, the feeds from the pages you like will come. This will keep you updated about the specific pages which you like in relation with the page and can follow them easily. This will not only make it easy for you to handle the page but also will help you in attracting more likes for your page.
8. You can switch back to main personal profile very easily or can change the page to check the likes and notifications there.
9. Every page has notification bar of its own where the notifications will come as you see them on your profile.
   

 

These new features are totally awesome. I loved #1 and #6. Upgraded the Limespace page on Facebook and I've already got some positive feedback.

Love the ability to post to other pages as your page itself (switching identities as profile to page and vice versa) and E-mail notifications. Finally Facebook listens to the admins

 

I like how the window doesn't have to be redirected to view pictures. They pretty much made things a lot more convenient.

 

Thanks for sharing. I have given it a try. I like #3 and #4 most. As to #2, is it possible for me to hide the image area?
