i am only aware of two things with facebook 1)The facebook ads. which i read is not worth investing time. i dint try myself but just telling you what i rea at other plces 2)FAN pages. that's really a hot topic these days

Face book marketing is something really i dont know..but fanpages are worth in driving as much as traffic to website..its a direct traffic..
In my own experience, if you are a software provide, you can giveaway some of your products on Facebook for a few days to attract people to 'like' your page and add you as friend.
