Sadly, most facebook links are nofollow... you can check for your self if you view the source code of the page and search for rel="nofollow" tags in the HTML code. (you can view the source code in Mozilla FireFox: Ctrl + U) Cheers,
Nope. Just like Twitter and other top social networking sites, facebook 'links' created by its users have got no-follow attributes. It's worth mentioning, though, that if a lot of people share your content (your web page link) in facebook, Google can detect it when crawling the facebook page. And if that web page of yours ultimately rank higher in Google SERP, your social popularity can be considered to be *one* of the ranking factors. Nevertheless, you won't get any 'link love' from facebook as it's no-followed. External links coming to your site from the social networks (such as facebook, twitter, digg, etc) can only help you to get a lot of traffic if you do it the RIGHT way. So, it's not worth your time if you're looking to build do-follow links from the social networks to your site.
You still get traffic. I google my name and my facebook profile is page 1 or 2, so it knows who I am . Likewise, one of the link sources shows I have one of my urls in my facebook profile. So, don't avoid it. Promote, promote.
They are nofollow however you can still get good amount of targeted traffic in facebook. Therefore they are still worthy to get targeted customers.
