FaceBook is being sued

Like the title says, FaceBook is being sued. 10 privacy organizations have taken actions against the BIG man.

all big businesses get sued. people do not have to use facebook, so it's not going to do them any good. facebook can make any rules they want. if you don't want to play by their rules, you get out of their sandbox.

 

Google has gotten sued so many times by small organizations and regular people. The court seems like they always side with the big dogs. So FB shouldn't be worried as well.

 

yeah they are tax payers why wouldn't the judge go for them... i mean after all, that's basically where the judge and jury come into play

 

This isnt true federal and state laws override and wimpy TOS you put up. ALWAYS.

 

if you haven't been sued - you haven't done enough business

I agree. Its not like school where rules really matter because you have to go.

 

Its such a bogus lawsuit, don't be surprised if you see a Judge on the News getting arrested for laughing at these stupid people suing for stupid reasons.

All the bigger company's have been getting hit with these.

Like Blizzard Ent., Xbox, Play Station Network, Facebook,and Myspace just to name a few.

 

They have a big bussiness and all of them get sued one day. I don't think they will be penalyzed however.

 

Facebook won't be missed.

 

Nothing will happen to facebook.

 

I don't know if this is relevant but last week people were sending a post around that Facebook will automatically index all your info on Google, which allows everyone to view it. There was a box in the settings you had to deselect that said allow indexing.

 

Good. It's about time somebody got with it and started sticking it to this idiot. I am sure it won't fly, but at least they are being a thorn in their side.

 

When someone builds up a nice business, other people want to tear it down. Its really sad when people can not enjoy the fruits of their labor without getting sued over something.

 

It's not gonna be like twitter.
