Facebook had lately introduced their 'SEND' button. The idea behind having a send button in spite of the earlier Like button which does almost the similar job, is that with the SEND button the content or information can be shared privately. Unlike the LIKE button. So basically... keeping in mind the user privacy & security Facebook was influenced to launch this SEND button. Nevertheless, The Wall Street Journal, People.com and Orbitz, The Washington Post, and about 50+ sites have already incorporated the “Send†button on their website. You can generate the send button code here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/send/ Considering the services launched by Google like the +1 and the Hide Site from the results. Similarly, this will also effect the way online business is evolving.
Its kinda like boring... but can replace with spamming techniques... Facebook mails always goes to INBOX, not SPAM... So well just write your own blog, and spam it to billions of email IDs, FUN..FUnFunFun...
I don't think many people use it. Mostly content that is shared openly goes viral. To use the Send is like sending it privately to one or 2 persons. Unless there is sensitive issues I am not sure why anyone will use it. I am eager to see how this will work out
