I have a website and want to place facebook icon so that my members who click on that icon will be taken to facebook. How do I do that?
Do not just sent to people on FB! what you gain by it. Make a Fan page for your website and after making they will give you a promotion badge to put on your website. Place it on a nice place, people will follow it and go to your FB page
You can use social bookmarking buttons for your website. Facebook, twitter,digg,reddit and many more.. You can also select which buttons you prefer.

i would suggest you to go to images.google.com search for a facebook icon , then put it in your website and place a target blank link behind it
