Just to clarify, the issue is not how to insert a link into your status, which is probably understood by most. The question is how to create a text-only link to an FB fan page within the text of your status or comments. It's a specialized FB-specific link. It allows you to mouse-over the text and see a preview of the page, including the location, any friends who like it, the ability to "Like" the page, and the ability to send a message - all without actually clicking the link. It also means your post will appear on that page. Ex: "So and So mentioned This Page in his/her status." Here's how: 1. Locate the PageID. --- For pages w/o an alias, you can find it in the URL while you're on the page (facebook/etc/etc/12345678/blah blah). --- For pages with an alias, go to: graph.facebook.com/PAGE ALIAS. The ID will be right on top. 2. In the standard post/comment text box type the following: @[12354678age Name]. The text will not change in your post until you actually post it. So, I go to Six Flags New England and want to post about it with a link to their fan page. Their page has an alias - sixflagsne, which I can see in the URL on their page. I go to graph.facebook.com/sixflagsne and discover the PageID is 52129033739. So this: "This is my awesome status. I just went to @[52129033739:Six Flags New England] and it's cool." Will look like this: "This is my awesome status. I just went to Six Flags New England and it's cool." The blue text will be a link. You can also use whatever text you like. "This is my awesome status. I just went to @[52129033739:The Coolest Amusement Park In the World] and it's cool." will look like: "This is my awesome status. I just went to The Coolest Amusement Park In the World and it's cool." The link will still point to the Six Flags page.

QUICK QUESTION: I was so excited to see it work, that I didn't realize the hyper link only takes me back to my personal facebook page. How can I make that hyper link go to a certain Facebook url Page or "other link" outside of Facebook, are either one of these possible? Thanks for your help! I've tried to add my fan page ID after the 1: but that didn't work either

I'm not sure what you mean by dirty link, but if you mean that your link are mark as spam from fb, you can use other site or even blogger to redirect to the original link.
They are already spam area with many worthless links posted, including misleading and phishing links in some people's timelines and even in paid ads. I have seen them. Not to mention that is also worthless to promote anchor texts, if would be possible do it. Keep in mind that Google doesn't indexes Facebook profiles at all, and people can't see those profiles either unless they are signed in.
