Facebook - how do you make a product that people become fan of?

    I am not too much into facebook, so maybe someone can help me?

    How do you make a product that people become fan of? For example a lot of people are fan of U2 or some movie.

    Also what's the difference in making a group and a fan page?

    would be good and easier if you do a facebook app. that would be cooler! Go through my link if you want to do a facebook app.
