Since the globalisation of Facebook, its users have grown to huge numbers with majority of teenagers spending hours of time a day. Most of us may consider it as a status symbol but hasn't it become more of a nuisance. Facebook has development as addiction amongst the youth. Isn't it a threat?

Frankly, I dont think so. Yes it might have been addiction NOW in some parts of the world other than the US among the teenagers. However this addiction was already amongst the teenagers in the US long back, there was or neither is any threat for anyone :)
Yes, if you say about addiction, then I would agree, I am also addicted to some of the stuff on the net. Especially Facebook, I am addicted to the game called Cityville :D

Yes may be like that for now. But (somehow) I still have an argument that facebook soon or later will be 'down' and changed with other social networks. You know, it's already happen with MySpace, Friendster, and Tagged before..
