As I know facebook users can upload unlimited photos in their profiles. If I create a group is there any limit of allowed photos which are displayed in the group?
I don't belive there is... I know they allow up to 60 photos per album, but I don't think there's a limit to how many albums you can have.
is that true ? How can a users upload unlimited photos in their profiles. Don't they have a limit on space or something.
group pics are really user pics shared to the group. so when you as the group admin erase a user pic, the user still has the pic on their profile. thats way sometimes you see, pics that say, pic submited to the group a, b and c
You can upload 60 photos to 1 album, but as far as I know there isn't a limit on the album. Facebook have A LOT space for all the photos, at one point, no idea if they changed it, but the TOS stated that your photo wouldn't ever be deleted from their servers, even if you deleted it from your profile. So they must have loads of space / bandwidth, but this isn't surprising looking at the size of Facebook and the rapid speed its growing at.
Actually there is a limit. its 19745 Approx Im in a group called GNN...basically a group simply for idle banter and is my sole reason for goin on facebook. We cleaned out a lot of repost so now its down to 18000 pics. Weve moved on the GNN the third chapter which is at 14000 pics and counting http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=32636834259
No its not unlimited. Photo albums have a 200 picture limit. GROUP albums have a 19000 picture limit.
I have received error messages from Facebook that I have exceeded photo limit.. none of my albums exceeds 200 photos.. this is a fan page.. if someone has 18000 photos, how come FB is complaining about my 2000 photos.. I have 102 albums which I could consolidate if necessary.. but that is not a lot either.. could someone please tell me what can I do.. For now, i have started to delete some old photos that are not as important. but I may not have too much to delete.... thanks!!
