    Hello -
In effort of promoting one of my websites. I'm trying to be on main social networking website for more exposure.
When it comes to facebook, there's websites that set up a group and some set up a Page (fan page). I was wondering which option will suits me better.
Is there any benefits of one over the other?

    Thank you

If it's for a business, I'd use Pages. They are much more customizable.

The good thing about pages is that you can show your fans on you actual site and your posts with something like a wibiya toolbar. Plus you can add pictures, import your blog etc. Plus the posts you write on your fan page wall also filters into the feeds. However, the one major flaw is there seems to be nowhere stating yourself as the admin so people can't contact you directly.

Groups don't have the same facility for cross promotion but I think you are shown as an admin so it is a toss up. I would go for a page. The problem with adding both is that you may split your group as some will join one some will join the other and some will join both. But you are unlikely to get 100% of people joining both groups, plus you will have to differentiate the two and also maintain both.

    Hope this helps
