You can mention in your pinned post on your group and can also share on some other related groups on facebook. BTW what is niche of your your facebook group?
You want your cover photo and pinned post areas rented, right? You can just post the promotion on these areas as well.
Better make a colourful banner ad targeting the key aspects or points which will be helpful to target the right audience at the same time make that banner in such a way that it leaves a social messages that can make most of them to share Everytime..
Just so you know, in the scheme of FB, 11K is nothing and I believe it's against Facebook ToS to place ads in those places. So, if they realize what you're doing, they'll just kill off the group.
As the admin of the Facebook page you can pinned your post on top to catch the attention of your members in which to let them know your interesting information.
Why would you want to monetize your page in this way? There are other ways to monetize groups on facebook.
