Facebook giveway groups? why?

    Lately, ive seen so many facebook groups that say they will give a tv, xbox, labtop etc to a random person everyday. all they have to do is invite all of thier friends.

    Why are people doing this? Is it just to spam or is there some ingenious idea that is actually behind this?

    I've never got any response from these kind of programs. It seems to me spam.

    This is not just unique to facebook it happens everywhere so treat it as the same. Would you ever sign up to pop ups offering you this type of deal!

    ...well on the other hand that TV offer does sound enticing!

    yewah but typically they make u sign up for a free offer so some sort and ask for email address...these grps do no such thing..
