Facebook Friend Page URL

I setup an Facebook friend page, but I find the URL is rather long:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hong-Kong-Digital-Vision/171742611770?ref=ts

How to shorten it like other page? (e.g. http://www.facebook.com/CanonES)

 

You can request a nickname when you sign up, maybe through the control panel too once you have signed up.

 

Is it apply to profile only?

 

u will want to go here http://www.facebook.com/username/ and then set a username for your fan page. u must have 100 fans to do this but i see that you do.

 

Thanks, but is it useful to full name instead of short form for better SEO?

i.e.

http://www.facebook.com/Hong-Kong-Digital-Vision
vs
http://www.facebook.com/hkdigit

 

Full name for sure !!! Why use a short name ?
