Hello SNetworking Experts, with DPs buy sell trade section I could see lots of threads stating 'make money with facebook', Instant earnings via facebook etc etc. I don't understand what these guys are talking about. Can anybody tell me a little about this? Is it really possible to do something like these guys telling?
it is possible. Most people use facebook, myspace, youtube, etc.. to get good backlink to their website or traffic. If you are smart and creative, there are unlimited thing that you can do to earn online .
...like starting your own 'fan page.' Another way to expose your links to larger number of people After all, its a Social Website .. that's what domainers do over there
Guys, these link building stuff, fanpage to promote business etc are familiar to me. I think these thread starters are talking about something else which is unknown to me.. Waiting for some expert's arrivals to this thread soon.
Yeah its predominantly done through Facebook Fanpages and using it to leverage your online businesses! You can do a number of things for eg using particular facebook apps, fbml to introduce your websites and sell your products to your fans and potential visitors. Facebook ads (although you have to pay to begin with) using free ad credits is great for this thought. Just general networking!
People who are selling things fall under two categories: Those selling junk won't give you the advice for free because they know it's junk Those selling good stuff won't give you the advice for free because they... are selling it! They'd be out of business. Most people fall in the first category nowadays, though, so be careful when you do decide to buy. I bet it's just 'add 1000 friends, then spam the heck out of them' advice from most people.

Yep so true! Just saw a friend of mine "become a fan" of a certain page going around saying they can turn your facebook into gold beta...it's such a scam. The only way you could get access was to suggest all your friends first and then they give you the info...but it wasn't working.
it is all about finding a group that is related to your product or creating a group of a fan page than spamming the fans and the members

It is very easy to use facebook as a gateway to contact a large number of people. Currently groups and fan pages are a very popular method. A lot of people take great interest in buying already large groups and fan pages to reach a high number of people to advertise aff commission of CPAs.

You have to make an app and find advertiser like life street media or rockyou to add their ads to your app page. Then you'll earn money from facebook. I don't know other money making from FB. If somebody know, share please.
Some of Facebook Private Groups are gold mines for web designers and web developers, but it's not easy to get invitation from the group creator/admins
