Facebook for Business?

    Hi guys,

I am going to manage multiple Fan Pages on Facebook representing different businesses and brands. I read Facebook's terms but still I am not quite sure which one is better:
1- Creating Business Accounts which seems to be "not recommended" on Facebook
2- Managing all of those as Fan Pages under my personal profile which seems to be recommendation of Facebook and doesn't make sense to me. Specially that in one page, Facebook recommends it and in another one it says if you want to manage multiple pages you should contact a representative.

    Thoughts?

Create fan pages and make yourself as an admin to each then you can pick which page to manage at any given time from your own account. + it gives you stats.

It is ok to create pages and admin it, you want to keep your Facebook page separate from your personal account. You can have as many pages as you like but you can only have 1 personal profile account.

The best thing to do as mentioned is to become the admin on the facebook page, and the original creator of the business page has to authorize you to become an admin. I did it myself for our business facebook page and all I did was make the person admin, then another business account was created and I took the same person and made him an admin and Facebook didn't have a problem with it. As far as the business sides of things, Facebook has a lot of growing to do in my opinion, so I wouldn't go into that direction. I think they are doing a beta test or something, like linkedin did for a period of time.

The several social networking sites are there but mostly friendster and flicker is useful for promoting visitors to our targeted website.

You must keep them separate from your personal account - as I understand it, businesses can only have "Pages", not full profiles, but you can be the admin of multiple pages while not putting your own profile at risk of banning...

It just recommends that when u first start if you already have a page then u should go through your personal account to make a page instead of building seperate accounts. They dont mean either one is better or worse.
