Fan Pages don't operate like normal personal pages. You don't add friends, people have to join. You can invite them to join, but as a page administrator you can't join other pages or profiles. Anything that you join will be as your personal account. No, there are many ways. They offer some good tips to increase your fan base, basically use the same marketing commons sense as you use to promote a blog or website. It also helps to have a blog or website with good traffic. No there are no "friend request" sections, but you can get your name out there by joining like groups in your niche and commenting,and joining in some discussions...just like you would with a blog. There are apps that allow you to make a tabbed page or box in most HTML (they call it FBML). You need special tags to insert videos and I don't thing Js is allowed.
