Facebook direct profile url

Hello,

I'm creating a page for my website on facebook...but does anyone know how to create a direct profile url? For eg if my site name is johnscakes...I want facebook.com/johnscakes

You can create usernames for profiles, fan pages, and app pages by going to:

http://facebook.com/username

 

Oh perfect, I see it, thanks. Can this link direct me to my page where I have my website? Or will it be my profile? I don't want it to link to my actual profile with friends on it...I want it on my page where I have my website, founded ,likes, etc

If you don't want it to direct to your profile, just make a fan page for your business.

 

If you want to make a fan page, this page will give you some directions:

Your created fan page will have same url format as you profile page.

I think I'm missing something...sorry if I'm a bit slow.

I created the page no problem...look here: facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Ehotjobs/119894948059046?ref=ts

This is the page I want with a direct profile url...so I created the custom name "ehotjobs"...but it points to my personal profile which I used to create the above page: facebook.com/ehotjobs

How do I make the direct profile url go to my page?

I thought you had to have a certain amount of fans before you get could your own vanity url for a fan page?

 

i think you will need to build a fan page crowded first around 20k fans then fb admin will ask u to verify your page. Now you can use the username of your fb profile

 

Facebook seems to have become a treasure of

 

i guess you get to choose a vanity url only after you get arround 20-25 fans for your page
