Facebook Connect makes site run extremely slow, Any ideas?

    I added Facebook Connect to my new website but if I login using Facebook Connect every single page takes about 1 minute to load each. I dont see why its making such a Big difference. Is there any key things I should be looking for?

    I am using shared hosting which isnt the best I agree but it does actually work just super slow. I will upgrade to dedicated at somepoint but I even tried it when I got a VPS Server for a couple days and was having the same problem.

    Any suggestions welcome,

    try page cache and cache the .js from the Facebook connect. SO it won't download every page request to Facebook.

    Do your pages contain lots of javascript? that may be the problem. Also, make sure you are using external .js :)
