As is apparent, the problem is not with facebook... rather it was a virus/spyware that took advantage and used CC details to subscribe to FB's service! :(

I think it makes one learn an important lesson... to invest some amount in security programs, rather than losing a bunch in such attacks! :(

    Regards,

Totally wrong. You can get your money back if you have a good bank, regardless of your communication with Facebook.

You did the right thing by disputing it with the bank. My bank has always been more than helpful for example when a vending machine charged me 3 times on my card instead of just once. Your bank will work on it and almost always will take your side. Depending on how good your bank is, I think you really have little to worry about.

You should be covered for fraud through the card issuer, tel the card issuer that the transaction is fraudelent and you would like charge back. The bank will then ask you to sign a declaration and start the procedure for q chargeback.

Probably a frauder or a kid of your. Bought some Facebook credits. If it's kids, then for themselves, if a frauder, maybe he spent them on a fake app that collects money using his own account.

Contacting Facebook about it as fast as possible would prevent a frauder from getting hold on any stolen money. I don't know how fast apps can cashout. Maybe Facebook still has the funds and can refund you and others who got their credit card/Facebook account info stolen in some way. It would be very important in that case that Facebook gets informed about it.

Wow, sorry to hear it. From Facebook? You must have a virus. It is always scary to put your card numbers out in the cyber world. Your wife must have bought something on facebook and just got hit by a hacker from random selection or something. hope it works out.
