Yeah, links from Facebook are set to nofollow, and links on myspace (since we started on communities) don't give PR cos they go to some page that asks you if you want to leave myspace. Anyway, you could try other communities or use Rblakney's tip about making a group, I haven't tried it yet but lots and lots of people do it, the only problem is presenting your product/market in an attractive way, otherwise people won't read your messages or click your links etc.
