"Facebook apocalypse"- is it possible or just a fable?

According to TV programs, the number of unsatisfied Facebook users has increased. Does that mean that some day Facebook will be replaced by better social web-sites? Do you have some suggestions of such web-sites? Is Facebook an endless project or ,as everything in the world, it has its beginning and ending? What are your predictions about Facebook ?

I think what you have seen is lazy journalism by TV programs by coming up with a story that isn't really there. Although it's not out of the realms of possibility of another social website overtaking Facebook, it's very unlikely. Social networks like Facebook only work when there is a critical mass of users (that is, a very high percentage of the population having an account) so a dominating firm is likely to dominate over the long term.

They will continue to grow especially since they just received some new investors.

It is a widely accepted theory that products (including websites like facebook) all eventually decline.
