Facebook - Allow post "boosts" once only

    Ok I want to promote a post in Facebook...

    Before, I submit I get a warning along the lines of "you have too much text" but I submit it anyway and it gets accepted. So I would boost the post for $50 but when budget would be exhausted Facebook NEVER seems to allow you ad more to the budget. So I can infact only boost the promoted post ONCE.

    This phenomenon has happened now nearly 3 times.

    What is Facebook playing at here and more importantly how do I prevent this from happening in the future?

    Hello,

    This is what happen when you use the Boost button on the post. You are very limited in what you can do and the cost is generally much higher than using the Ad manager.

    I suggest you go to the Ad Manager and boost the post from there. You will be able to select a daily budget as low as $1 per day and get a much lower CPA per engagement.
