I've been hearing people making claims of making 500+ a day on facebook WITHOUT the facebook ppc...and im sitting here wondering how in the... is that happening? thoughts?
If you are own fan pages with more that 4K or 5K likes then you can be one of the best source for facebook promotion. This in turn will make you to earn money through it.
For sales no. For leads yes. Anything that has a end cost to the user doesn't fly on Facebook, purely because it's a social platform, designed for user engagement as oppose to direct sales.
I do agree with you but again you can't ignored the value of brand promotion. The purpose is not to make direct sale but to make people aware about presence.
I always thought that fb PPC is the only way of doing it because facebook restricts sending messages to others in large numbers.
Yup it definitely works I use fan pages everyday to make a good chunk of $$$ consistently. You could also advertise your fan page with Facebook ads to get more people to your page but you can also be successful without using Facebook ads. But the key to that is to make sure you have a lot of friends to suggest the page to, like a few thousand, then when you get to about 10k-12k fans then start pushing your product or affiliate product that you want to sell.
