Basically, I would like to know if someone tried this out and what where the results? Is it worth paying?
Do u have any tried and tested results for this? Any supporting data or conversation rates so I we can think +vely about this whole new channel.
I've purchased a couple of ads. So far, it does not appear to be a worthy buy. Each of my ads are pointing to a Facebook Page I set up for one of my websites. My goal was to boost the number of fans. So far, I seem to have increased my fan base substantially, but whenever I post a link to my website on my Facebook Page, I don't get very many people clicking through. I mean, it's like a ridiculously low CTR, around 1/2 of 1%. But I'm convinced there's a way to make it work, and work cheaply. I think the trick is finding the right pages to target the ads. Target your ads to other Facebook Pages that have a lot of discussion taking place between fans. These are more than likely highly engaged, and highly passionate fans, who are more likely to click through to your site. I'm still playing around with it.
Facebook Ads is the best way to permutation your business,A picture is worth a thousand words, especially with your Facebook Ads. Make sure to use relevant and compelling images that are directly related to the product/service you are promoting.
i heard it does work but it'll be very costly. it's all about ur ad as someone has said above along with ur offer.
It depend on how you advertise and how to target your audience. I see facebook ads the tempts me right at the moment to check it out and I also see ads that makes feel like me breaking my PC. IF You can be creative in that little ad and you are successful
It's not very good to be honest. Whatever you do, don't buy directly, buy vouchers and you'll get a massive, massive discount.
facebook is not well set up as adwords. but u can go wid it. it is pretty popular and gives u an above average result
Facebook is a great source of traffic and you can get very cheap conversions if you play your cards right. Even if its tempting to target wide and reach a broader audience - don't do it. Focus on brands and activities that your target audience like and engage with. Be creative and test different ad copy and images.
I've had a poor turnout with fb ads for a local business site. It seemed like a good idea because you could narrow the demographic right down to the city. Tried to fine tune the copy, used a dramatic graphic. Still, very weak results.
Has anyone got any more experience of Facebook advertising or are there any good online resources that take you through the pros and cons, etc?
Facebook Ads is the good way to promote your site. It makes a "Like" wave for "clicker" friends. I've not ever tried to use Adwords to compare, but Facebook Ads is really good
