Anyone every try out the facebook ads? are they good? what different is it if i pay .02 cents for the ads or .10 cents for the ads...is it placement or is it more accurate target market? little confused about that...thanks in advance!
placement/display ad.. you pay more you will get higher position... if you really want targeted ad.. go with google adword.. or better yet.. contact the website directly...
yea, I was not impressed with facebook ads at all. very terrible conversion rates. I had $400 worth of free advertising and I could have done better using $30 worth of yahoo advertising.
If done correctly, they can do very well, although it can get really expensive, really fast. The highly targeted ads, even down to age, income level, education, etc. are all very attractive. You can even set it to show ads on people's birthday, which you can really do some cool ninja stuff with, depending on what you're selling/affiliating for.
Facebook ads are the bomb. If you can't make money with Facebook ads, then you have huge problems and should give up CPA/affiliate marketing. You can get some of the cheapest, most targeted traffic available on the internet from Facebook ads.

It works really well if your trying to send traffic towards a facebook fan page, but not so well when your trying to leverage it towards your blog. You can then use your facebook fan page to generate traffic to your site.
