Facebook ADs pricing question

I am new to FB advertising. Could you advise me on prices?

The minimum amount is $ 0.01 per click if using ppc..
is it real to drive just ANY traffic at that price or similiar? Say, if i just want to target all 20-40 people from USA? (i will get 20+ millions matches).. will the system show my ad at all if i bid so?

If not, what would be the appropriate price for such a wide targeting?

p.s. i know, cleaner targeting would bring a more useful traffic, but i just need to build up some kind of metrics for myself to start from...

I doubt you would be able to find an untargeted ad that will get displayed for .01. FB ads is wierd, everytime you edit your ad it will say a lower suggested bid ammount so its pretty whacky at best. I've found some decent CTRs in the range of .35 so far, anything lower and I dont get that many views.

I've seen people with higher CTRs(1%+) that get the lower bids.

Just take a look at the estimated bid, then lower it a tad lower than that
