Facebook Ads + EPC

Okay, I'm trying to figure this out. I might be burning a hole in my pocket but I haven't paid much attention to EPC in the past because I purchased this site a while ago and was getting organic traffic.

My question is though, I want to pump it up to another level by using Facebook ads. Today, I got started on my account. I can't seem to get anything lower than about $0.55 CPC (according to their suggestion tool).

Unfortunately, my affiliates average EPC is about $35.00. This is typically pretty good, no? However, when I do the math, I can't send them 100 visitors from Facebook for less than $55.00. Do you guys recommend risking that and just testing out the waters? How much weight do you put on EPC?

You do not have to bid the suggested bids. I spend tens of thousands a day on FB and never bid close to their minimum suggested bid - but that is for the niches I am in. Target the offer down and test the traffic out.

Don't waste your time using facebook ads. I get their $350 credit and use them until my account runs out and then stop. Facebook Ads has the worst CPC. I get terrible results. If it wasn't for the free credits I would have just wasted all that money.
