Facebook Account Disabled

Hey DP!

Sorry if this is the wrong place for the thread. Facebook disabled my account and I have been contacting them for months.

I have done nothing wrong and would like my account back. Any tips?

 

This is the wrong forum, you should have posted in "Social Networks." But while we are at it, you can email them at -- they're pretty good at getting back to you within a couple of days. Use the email address that you used to log into FB.

 

Why they disabled your account? I never heard about disabling a facebook account.

First of all if you have been adding friends everyday (more than 50) then first you get a warning from Fbook and then they disable the account.

Whenever Fbook disables any account, they send a mail to your registered email address for the reason, they disabled your account. If you have not got the mail, then check your spam mail, it has to be there. There system is automated and they do not disable the account without any prior notification or warning.

Yes they do disable your account for many reasons, one of which I have mentioned above.
Second if you are handling multiple accounts and if they catch you by signing those multiple accounts on the same ip, Fbook disables the accounts which are signed from that location.
Third if anyone reports a complaint to Fbook that you are sending unnecessary messages everyday to Fbook users to promote your product, then Fbook investigates and immediately disables the account.

I, myself was penalised for adding more than 50 friends a day, but after a week my account was active, lucky me

 

Maybe you created multiple accounts?

Can't say why they disabled your account but spamming is the only reason they ban a account. Contact the FB webmaster to know the reason.

 

You must has done some thing abide by their TOC. No one can help you except FB team. So its betterto contact them directly.

 

Most likely to prevent spam, they restrict the number of invites per day. But, if that's the case, they shouldn't ban you. Instead, they should give you a warning saying that you have exceeded the invitation limit per day.

I'm guessing that you have went against their TOS like what nickjason has said. Read their TOS and see what they say.

Somehow, I don't understand why you need to add 50 people on average per day.

First of all I have done nothing wrong at all? I have read oll of the rules numerous times. I have been in contact ith everyday for the last month! And no reply? I dont add over 50 people either.

edit: i have also checked spam and inbox but no reason for it

and I have contacted everyone possible.

 

At a time when I was also adding friends too fast I got warning that your action seems to be spam and your account can be disable after that I just add very few at one go...

 

Hey You've probably done something wrong to get it disabled, I always post links to my new blogs, to other peoples blogs and random stuff I find interesting, I've ever been banned. Think about what you could have done to make this happen... Spam?

But if you really didn't do anything wrong then they probably haven't unbanned your account yet because they probably get thousands of requests every day and maybe they havnt got round to yours yet.

I don't know why your account would get banned for no reason though :S

I have heard to of many people that have never gotten there account reactivated to :/

 

Have you actually contacted them yet? Even if you did nothing wrong you may find out that your account was hacked. Even if it was not hacked they will sometimes reinstate your account with a very firm warning or no warning.

 

Yes, I have probaly contacted them around 100 times with no reply. In a period of around 2 months.

 

Okay the only solution is, wait for a week, if you dont get any response, create a new account and start from the scratch. One of my friend had done the same and the old account got activated (after a month) without any notification by facebook. So now he has two accounts with the same name... lol !!!!!!

So not to get confused, he put the new Fbook account last name as the first name, hehehe....
