Hi, This is a bit long story but i am totally helpless and devastated and i hope someone could at least try to help me with this! 4 days ago i was chatting with a friend of mine on the messenger app of facebook, and on some point i shared with him a Pornographic picture (not mine!) and a few moments later both my facebook and messenger got disconnected and i got the notification that my account was disabled due to " ineligibility ". - "Your account was disabled because we determined that you are ineligible to use Facebook" Iv'e sent an appeal through this link:https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/269030579858086 And iv'e attached a photo of my Passport ID, and i wrote a message in the 'Additional info' box. I got a mail with the message: "The Facebook Team has received your inquiry. We should get back to you soon" This is the screenshot of the notification i got: http://postimg.org/image/6jxrf19xx/ Meanwhile they haven't got back to me yet and i am starting to deeply worry about my account. It was really foolish and stupid to have sent that picture on messenger, i should have never done this kind of things, however i don't understand if they always monitor the messenger app itself? because i wasn't posting nothing on my wall or anything so it means they monitor the messenger app too? In your opinion - should I keep waiting or send again an appeal through this link ?https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907 After how many days do they usually give an answer by mail? and is there any guarantee that they will even reply me or agree to re-activate my account? It would be absolutely devastating to me if i won't get my account back, i have hundreds of contacts that i don't even have any other method of contacting and i doubt i will be able to recover many of the people in my friend list. Opening a new account seems the worst option to me, because it means starting from 0 and losing content of 7 years of Photos/Likes/Posts/contacts etc.. What should i do? i would be forever grateful for any kind of help!
I'm impressed they were onto you so quickly. Or perhaps it was a coincidence and they were responding to that other time you sent porn... If you have no other way of contacting them then they weren't really friends... if you mean anything to them they'll track you down.
Same happened to my friend, he shared some photo on facebook messenger and in 3 seconds his account was blocked for good. He never got it back.. This is also to show how much lack of privacy there is on facebook messenger.
