FACEBOOK‬ has started to remove inactive Facebook accounts from Fan Pages. To make audience data even more meaningful for businesses, Facebook updating the Page likes are counted by removing ‪memorialized‬ and voluntarily deactivated accounts from Pages’ like counts.

Over the coming weeks, ‪Page‬ admins should expect to see a small drop in their number of Page likes as a result of this update. It’s important to remember, though, that these removed likes represent people who were already ‪‎inactive‬ on Facebook.

Going forward, any accounts that are voluntarily ‪‎deactivated‬ or memorialized will be removed from a Page’s like count. If a deactivated account is ‪‎reactivated‬, the account will be re-added to a Page’s like count.

So ‪FAKE‬ likes providers; it’s time to take rest. If the Likes are inactive, they aren't helping your business or your insights. I think it’s a good initiative from Facebook because when it comes to Facebook likes, quality is better than quantity, so this is definitely a good thing!

Thats good news. at least there won't be fake users anymore and so we know the people in our pages are real.

 

In Sub Continent the Outsource r always try to earned a lot by doing black hat techniques. At least this may be controlled by doing these measures.

This is good news. The issue with these fake profiles is that once you have one added you get spammed with more fake friend requests.

 

This is a good decision by Facebook authority. To reduce the fake ID and fake likes....this decision will help to increase the business for fan page owners and will reach to real users.

 

Also buyer should not ask for more likes but less time & money.

 

Facebook does remove likes if they think they are fake & it's good decision by Facebook, i think.

 

I think this is not enough to control for black hat technique. they should take many others step.

I haven't seen any news regarding this, I doubt if it is true.

 

Facebook also should take necessary action against erotic page, picture & comments. Because some times we watch FB with our family members. Hope FB authority will realize it.
