Face book Fan Page taking over Web Design?

    Do you think Face book Fan Page will take place over Web Design?

    I mean to say that FB Fan Page is much easier to mange than website,don't you think that with time demand of Website Design will reduce?

    Please give your opinion.

    No. Facebook is easy and people get all excited when they get thousands of fans on their Fan Page. But, what good does that do? If your business is showing funny pictures, Facebook is all you need. But, if you have a real product or service to sell, you need a website.

    I personally think that this sort of thinking is what will ultimately be the end of Facebook. The idea that you don't need a website if you have a Facebook Fan Page will destroy the credibility of Facebook because they just can't control the scams and the spam that is already destroying their site.

    Nah, you are really limited with FB fan page and most of the traffic it will generate you is totally useless.

    With your own website you can do what ever you want, promote hundreds of page organically, much better branding usually and much more other benefits.

    However they usually go together, you need a fan page as well as website if you ask me.

    No, Facebook fan page and web design is different thing, facebook fan page use only on facebook while web design contain so many things like, website, advertise banner, ebrochure etc.. etc...

    Facebook fan page is only for those who have fantasy for likes and shares.
    Not every one logs into the networking sites , and real developers and business lies in the website.
    Facebook just makes an addition to an established business.
    Furthermore i would like to stress that FB is dynamic content and you cant search for a post that is actually 2 years 5 months 6 days old that takes lot of scrolling down.
    But incase of a website its content is static can be searched via a search engine. So i'd give a go for websites :) , not networks.
