    Hello,

The following game was nearly sold...but after weeks the new "owner" admitted he dont has the money..sad...
However, the game is still for sale now - but only in its complete form (so no more license sales). The asking price is something around 18000$. Fell free to make me an (realistic) offer.

    --------------------------

I'm selling here my browsergame / MMORPG "Fabularis" including ALL rights, sourcecode and art. Fabularis is a professional developed, complete Flash MMORPG. The game runs currently in german language but with getting all the sourcecode it should be no problem to translate it into your language. The sourcecode is mostly commented in english language.

In detail I'm selling the complete game:

    - 100% self-developed Fabularis Java/AS3 game engine including client and server sourcecode
    - all the graphics and Fabularis stuff, you own the complete rights after the purchase
    - games website and board, all the users (currently 2052) and .com + .de domains (DMOZ listed)

Please note that I'm selling the game / game engine "as is". I can't give any additional support after the purchase. I will help you to get the game running on your server but after that its up to you. As mentioned most of the sourcecode is commented in english and an advanced Java / AS3 programmer should get no problems (I hope so).

The game can be played currently completely for free - all the integrated premium features are enabled to all players at this time. So please dont ask for any income - beside some advertising on the games webpage there is nothing. But - the games engine includes a complete in game premium shop with a connection to an european micropayment system. So its up to the new owner to make the premium features with costs and/or to alter the payment API.

    Highlights - Fabularis game content

    - REAL TIME - Browser playable - Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, Fabularis is the name of the games fantasy world
    - game runs stable since 09/2008, most bugs should be fixed (but there is no software without any bugs of course)
    - professional, console style game graphics from "Ragnarok Online" artists with a nordic touch
    - two islands, one dungeon, player houses, entire world is set up for and ready for up to 300 players at once
    - 4 playable races: human, dwarf, elf and orc
    - 3 playable classes: fighter, archer, mage
    - 5 runes for each class with special skills like "double strike" or "fire arrow", optically impressive animated
    - classic rpg character development by hunting monsters, solving quests or adventuring

    multiplayer components

    - realtime PvP (fight player versus player), beginning with level 10, 3 steppings of lawlessness
    - group hunting gives more experience and fun, group-only quests
    - complex and wide-ranging guilding system with things like guild taxes, guild inventar, vendor discounts and much more
    - in game mailbox
    - complex player housing system: you can setup three different, walkable house types with a lot of furniture stuff, you can sell or rent (!) your house(s), share keys with your friends and so on

the games premium features - at this time freely playable

    - no advertising (you can blend in a banner rotation system above the games chat, currently disabled - but take a look at the screenshots)
    - miniature in game map
    - advanced inventar capacity (100 items)
    - in game mailbox
    - player houses
    - teleporter usage between the main islands
    - access to the dungeon
    - optional purchase of in game money

technically highlights and some "basic" information about Fabularis

    - 100% my own creation, the third-code usage is limited to two LGPL licensed Base64 and MD5 AS3 components
    - professional created graphics by a graphic artists who did the characters for Ragnarok Online too
    - usage of some free (real free) item graphics
    - professional created in game GUI and website layout
    - game engine consists of a Flash CS4/AS3 game client and a Java 1.6 game server
    - realtime communication client <> server via compressed socket connection (my own creation, no third party system used)
    - game runs with a simple linux server (I suggest 4GB ram and 2GHZ+ intel dual core) and JRE 1.6 installed, database backend is MySQL and website and payment API is created in PHP5

The game "Fabularis" and the game engine itself is "feature complete" (as you can say this about a browser game at all). The development lasted for over entire year and all the stuff bought for the game costed a lot of x.xxx $. But...I'm not longer focusing on browser games anymore and thats why I want to sell the the entire game or engine licences. As I'm only an individual I cant give any further support for this - please respect that fact...I simply dont have the time to assist you. As written before I will do the (remote) installation on your server but cant do any more work.

The new owner should have basic development knowledge of Sun's JAVA 1.6 (game server), Adobes Flash / FLEX / AS3 (game client) and PHP5/MySQL5 (website, payment api). The engines source code is well structured (as good as I got it done) and documented (in code with english comments). But there exists no manual or something like this.

I would be happy if the - currently german language only - game finds a new publisher/developer or you can realize you very own imagination with the games engine!

Thanks for you interest! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions: a.friedrich [@] fabularis.de

Sorry, but thats up the new owner. Currently I'm in the development of two other games and dont have any time for working on Fabularis anymore. With the help of a skilled AS3/Java developer and a translator the translation should be no problem.
